doctrine of estoppel

after property paper, me and kayatoast came up with this brilliant A+++ theory.

me and kayatoast on besotted-ness (ok love if you prefer) and how proprietary estoppel applies.

a. the guy represents to the girl that he likes her (vice versa is possible too)
(well, does not have to be outward and express representation, by conduct is possible too. the worse cases are those by conduct actually)

N.B. whether or not it's a misrepresentation is another question.

b. the girl relies on his representation to her detrimental reliance.
(examples would be waiting around for his call, being lethargic and lifeless when he's not around)

c. there's some unconscionability involved in the insistence of the guy's strict legal rights.
(i'm too lazy to think of examples already do you seriously think i'll flip my notes just to post this?)

ok there you go. and this is proprietary estoppel because the girl claimed property interest in the guy himself. exclusive possession LOL. Leasehold interest.

This doctrine will apply when the guy denies that he likes the girl or ever made such a representation. he cannot do that because he's estopped from doing so. it's not equitable!

i'll talk about remedies another day k. so lazy. i don't really want to think of property now.

we come up with the best things in life, me and kayatoast.

my junior college treated us like p.o.w.s

they locked us in at whim by locking up ALL the exits(false imprisonment), forced us up buses against our expressed wishes(criminal force) and deposited/herded us all on a hot sunny island out of singapore without any useful resources and left us there to die (this crime is too horrendous i shall not attempt to put it in words)

in a nutshell, they are *beep*

that's why i hear people on the p.o.w buses go "i've got the *toot* spirit. where? up in my arse!"

lol. i love my sch.
